Network Mortgage Next has announced the appointments of Andy Valvona, previously with Verso and Platform, as director, membership development and, through internal promotion, Lisa Barber to the position of director, national accounts. Both appointments are at non-executive director level. Valvona has had previous experience with Mortgage Next, having been its key account manager while at Verso and then Platform. His new responsibility will be to recruit high quality financial intermediaries to become appointed representatives of Mortgage Next’s network proposition. Barber’s promotion is a result of outstanding work to-date for Mortgage Next in securing and managing key business accounts. She joined Mortgage Next in 1999 having previously worked for Bristol & West and Barclays Bank.
