Following a successful move into the insurance sector, Kwik-Fit Insurance Services (KFIS) is extend its offering to mortgages. Initially it will target its existing database from its call centre in Uddingston, and aims to grow the business through advertising.
Martin Oliver, managing director, said, ‘This launch follows on from the recent introduction of a term life assurance product which saw us sell well over 2000 policies in just six months and a personal loans function which, although in a fairly embryonic stage, is already exceeding targets.
‘Our own research has revealed that 80% of home owners are paying over the odds for their mortgages and tend to stick with one lender regardless of whether they are getting a good deal.’
