GMAC RFC has expanded its marketing function with the appointment of Jeff Knight as head of marketing services. Knight has over 10 years experience in financial services marketing, and joins from Sun Bank, where he was residential mortgage marketing manager. Knight will be based at the company’s head office in Bracknell, Berkshire, and report to Barry Searle, commercial director. Searle says: ‘We are delighted to add Jeff to our marketing team. He brings with him a wealth of marketing expertise and industry knowledge, and will be a great asset in achieving our business objectives.’
The Mortgage Business
Specialist lender The Mortgage Business (TMB) has appointed Jim Baker, as business development manager for Manchester, North Lancashire and Cheshire. Baker was already a member of TMB’s management team, and has been promoted from a position as senior manager ‘ customer relations. He has been with the company since 1995, having joined from a direct sales representative post with Friends Provident. Mark Bergin, director – sales and marketing at The Mortgage Business, said: ‘Jim brings some excellent experience to TMB and has over 11 years mortgage and financial services industry under his belt. His customer relations skills will help boost TMB’s relationships with intermediaries in his area.’
