Mortgage packager The Finance Centre has signalled the expansion of its business by appointing Bob Dixon as its national sales manager. Dixon has over 20 years’ experience of financial services sales experience including a period as a regional manager for Alliance & Leicester, responsible for the North of England and Scotland sales operation, where he was in charge of 78 branches and 980 staff. His most recent position, was as national sales director at First Advice. Wayne Smethurst, senior partner at The Finance Centre, said: ‘To keep our competitive edge it is vital that we examine new sales and distribution avenues, including retail and third party collaborations. I can think of few people who are better qualified to do this than Bob Dixon.’
