As part of an agreement with GMAC RFC to buy three mortgage loan portfolios totalling £1.05bn this year, Mortgage Express has purchased £151m of loans. The acquisition will increase Mortgage Express’s assets, currently around £7.9bn, by 2%. All lending in the portfolio is secured on UK residential property with a similar risk profile to Mortgage Express’s existing lending.
