Newcastle has arranged to supply Shepshed Building Society with fully compliant computer systems through Newton Facilities Management (NFML).

Kriya Patel, IT manager for third party services at NFML, explained: “Rapid expansion at NFML means we are creating new positions and we need to fill them with talented and experienced staff. An IT vacancy came up just as we signed the agreement with Shepshed, and fortuitously its own IT manager, Stewart Hayles, fitted the bill perfectly – so we hired him. It was literally a case of one day he was managing Shepshed’s IT Technical aspects as one of their staff and the next day he was doing it as one of our staff.”

The deal to supply Shepshed is aimed at giving it improved access to security and service information in order to help keep its core systems updated.
