Morgan Whittaker, a Brentford based firm who train domestic energy assessors as part of the home information pack (HIP) process, has been stripped of its status as an approved training centre.

City & Guilds, one of the organisations that award the energy assessor qualifications, revealed it had withdrawn Morgan Whittaker’s approved centre status because of “contractual issues”. In some cases, City & Guilds will be picking up the costs of some assesors. It appears likely that those who have paid for but not received training will be put on to a course at another centre.
