In his new role, he will take responsibility for IFA distribution.

Supporting Cooper in the IFA market is Paul Glynn, who has been promoted to associate director. Glynn has worked in the retirement industry for more than 10 years and joined Just Retirement shortly after the company launched in 2004.

Both Cooper and Glynn will work closely with newly appointed chief actuary, Shayne Deighton.

Mike Fuller, chief executive of Just Retirement, said: “We are confident that, with this evolution of our senior team, Just Retirement will continue to ensure we continue to offer market leading products and services to IFAs and their clients.”
