The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) will not be increasing its 2010 membership fees.

At its recent AGM, the NACFB also said an enhanced package of benefits will soon be available to members.

Adam Tyler, chief executive of the NACFB, said it took the decision because many members are struggling as it has been very difficult for the market over the last two years with times likely to remain tough in 2010.

He said: “In recognition of this, the decision has been taken not to raise subscriptions for the next twelve months. Full members, associate members and patrons will see no increase in their fees in 2010.”

Tyler also said the trade body was looking to support members by offering additional business opportunities.

He said: “We have been in discussions with various market leading suppliers of general insurance and other protection products, who are happy to pay our members for introductions to their clients.”

Tyler pointed to CommercialKeeper, the back office customer relationship management system which was launched to members in June, as an example of the ongoing support which the trade body is supplying to members.
