Mortgage Times directors set up financial planning firm

Ex- Mortgage Times directors Chris May and Paul Carmody have set up a financial planning firm called Carmody & May.

The firm will offer services including consultancy, funds management, financial services such as mortgage broking, financial planning and corporate finance and advice.

It will be located at 247 Tottenham Court Road, London – the same address as Mortgage Times. It has yet to be registered on Companies House and is not yet FSA authorised.

Before Christmas, the network emailed advisers to say that the company had ceased trading and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) presented a petition to wind up the firm to the high court. No administrator has officially been announced.

Carmody and May could not be reached for comment.
