ITL Mortgages, the intermediary arm of Stroud & Swindon, will suspend new lending on its higher LTV products of up to 85% due to high demand.

The lender said it pulled the products because it had hit its target for lending in that range.

Linda Will, sales & marketing at Stroud and Swindon, said it was necessary to pull the product range at short notice not to exceed business levels.

She says: “We will be concentrating on business at the lower end of LTV. We could give much more notice because the popularity of the products would have taken us over the amount of business we want to take.”
