Paradigm offers will-writing service
Paradigm Mortgage Services has partnered up with Ison Harrison Solicitors to offer full will-writing and online divorce services to its members.

Paradigm members will be able to refer their clients to Ison Harrison via the tele-referral system, where clients will be put in contact with a lawyer offering a range of services.

The lawyer will conduct a short interview with the client over the phone and then professionally draft the will, before billing the client. Ison Harrison will also review and amend clients’ wills for free for the first five years to ensure they remain up-to-date.

Advisers will earn £40 per will for each introduction, with a single will costing the client £100 plus VAT and £150 plus VAT for a mirror will. For an optional extra £25 plus VAT, clients can register their will on the National Will Register.

Paradigm members can also refer clients to Ison Harrison’s new fixed-price electronic divorce service, which offers legal advice to clients seeking a divorce, helping to identify any issues that need to be resolved. Post-divorce services offered to the client will also generate a referral commission to the introducing intermediary.

Bob Hunt, chief executive of Paradigm Mortgage Services, said: “Many intermediaries and advisers will have large numbers of clients who currently have no will in place; this leaves the potential for a range of problems should they die suddenly. Paradigm is working with partners such as Ison Harrison to make it as simple as possible for our intermediary firms to deliver peace of mind to these clients by arranging a will quickly and professionally.

“We are also delighted to be the first and only distributor to be offering intermediaries access to Ison Harrison’s unique, electronic divorce service. Many members will be acutely aware of the potential financial pain and emotional distress that divorce can bring and it is this service’s aim that, where possible, the whole process is made as painless as possible.”
