Dig deep for the Broomstick Ball
The 12th annual Broomstick Ball, held tomorrow at the London Marriott Hotel, is set to be a fun-filled, but hopefully lucrative night for its two charities Cancer Research and the Irish Medical Society.

The Halloween-themed night has become a firmly established fixture in the mortgage industry calendar and guests are being urged to bring their cash, ready to bid for the charity auction.

Items up for auction include a golf package at the Celtic Manor, home to the Ryder Cup, a hospitality package at Berlin Racing and a helicopter ride with Champagne. A Hotel package at a leading international hotel is also up for grabs, so don’t leave your wallets or purses at home.

Tickets for the night include champagne and Guinness cocktails, a four-course dinner including pumpkin soup, games, live entertainment, prize giveaways and lots more.

Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to cancer research. The organisation funds the work of more than 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses across the UK.
There is virtually no government funding for research, so the charity needs regular support to help beat the disease.

Broomstick Ball organiser Deirdre McManus said: “The Broomstick Ball is our industry event and the industry has always supported it, especially as cancer touches everyone’s lives.”
