Lead Co-op launches source rank
Lead Co-op has launched source rank, allowing advisers to see both the source of their leads with providers granded by brokers for their quality.

The leads are ranked based on information provided to Lead Co-op by its bidding advisers.

The source rank is drawn from the raw data from changes advisers have made to their bids and translated this into a performance ranking for Lead Co-op advisers to see.

The rankings are updated in real time as advisers make changes to their bid prices for the individual lead generating websites.

A spokesperson for Lead Co-op said: “In the past, brokers have expressed to us that they would be prepared to pay more for high quality leads. Therefore, we have made it our priority to put quality at the centre of our source ranking system.”

Advisers will also be able to bid more for leads from websites that are delivering the higher converting leads and less for websites that are not performing as well.

Simon Baker, who was a founder of Leadbay in 2004, helped to put the source ranking feature together.

“Allowing advisers to see where their leads are coming from and vary the amount they pay for these leads incentivises the websites to generate high quality leads, not just a high volume of leads,” he said.

“The proof that this model is working is in the fact advisers are re-depositing funds with us. Having spent their initial balances they continue to buy leads.”
