Every month, L&G publishes a league table detailing performance figures for its AR business partners, alongside its own unpublished qualitative measures, including lapsed premiums and applications making it through to completions.
Mortgage Talk also won twice at this year’s L&G mortgage club awards in July taking Top Mortgage AR business in the North and Top Protection producer.
In the last 18 months Mortgage Talk has formed strategic alliances with advice firms, Gloucester Property Centre, Calthorpe Financial Services and Robert Sterling Financial Services, which the firm said have “produced positive results for all parties concerned.”
Managing director, Andrew Frankish, said: “Reaching this top position is a credit to everyone at Mortgage Talk and is a direct result of our growth strategy set out in 2010. We fully intend to build on the foundations we have laid down by investing in the development of our existing relationships as well as considering new alliances and acquisitions.”
Mark Screeton, distribution director for Legal & General Network, said: “We value the longstanding relationship we have with Mortgage Talk and congratulate them on achieving the top slot – I am sure they will face stiff competition though from other firms as we go into the second half of the year.”
