Connect Overseas has launched a foreign mortgage sourcing system.

The online facility allows brokers to receive 100% of the commission from the provider. The firm says it will allow a greater number of brokers to access foreign property markets.

Geoff Simmonds, head of operations at Connect Overseas, said: “The system we have devised gives brokers the best of both worlds.

“Either they can contact a bank directly for decision in principle or formal mortgage offer and get paid the full procuration fee.

“Alternatively they can apply using one of our support services, which includes our packaging service, quick refer service and off panel placement facility, to fit in with the way they want to work.”

“The beauty of the service is that it opens up the doors of international mortgages to every broker.

“The system has been designed to be detailed yet simple to use, to give the broker the confidence to discuss foreign mortgages with their clients, regardless of their experience.”
