A survey by the Institute of Directors showed most business leaders believe the UK will avoid a triple dip recession, according to a report in The Times.
About half of the 1,300 directors polled at the end of last year thought the economy would grow in 2013. This figure stood at 19% 12 months ago.
However, the survey found less than half thought George Osborne was doing a good job. Just over 40% thought he was doing well, down from the 69% polled in April 2011.
