The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries is welcoming Paralympic darling Rory Mackenzie as after-dinner speaker at its tenth anniversary dinner near Trafalgar Square on 19 June.
Sponsored by Abbey for Intermediaries, ex-soldier and motivational speaker Mackenzie (pictured) spoke at the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games at the Olympic Stadium and has rowed the Atlantic ocean for charity.
Robert Sinclair, chief executive of AMI said: “The dinner, which will be held at 8 Northumberland, London will be addressed by Rory Mackenzie, who many remember for his inspiring rendition during the London 2012 Paralympic Games closing ceremony at the Olympic Stadium.”
He continued: “AMI and Abbey for Intermediaries are delighted to arrange for our guests to hear from a former combat medical technician who was badly injured in Iraq, but has since rowed the Atlantic, learned to ski and raised considerable sums for charity.”
