Solent Mortgage Services has added Aldermore to its lending panel in an attempt to widen its intermediary offering.
The distributor’s chief executive Ian Balfour said the Aldermore had launched its proposition in the middle of the worst industry conditions for 30 years.
He said: “Their determination to provide alternative financing opportunities to the intermediary market deserves the thanks of the whole broking community.”
Aldermore managing director Charles Haresnape said SMS had a reputation of providing the best of the lending market to intermediaries: “We look forward to working with them and their introducers, particularly now as the market is showing signs of sustained growth.”
