Nationwide upgrades broker mobile apps
Nationwide Building Society has upgraded its mobile applications for mortgage brokers to include two new features.

The Nationwide for Intermediaries and buy-to-let focused The Mortgage Works apps will allow brokers to find their local BDM by GPS and will include details on service levels at the lender.

The app is available on Android phones and tablet devices plus the iPad and iPhone.

Nationwide said the apps had been downloaded 8,900 times since its launch last month.

Ian Andrew, managing director of Nationwide Group Intermediary Sales, said: “Both apps have been very popular with intermediaries, with the feedback remarking on the clean layout and easy access to information while on the go.

“Our aim was always to help intermediaries on the move to find NFI and TMW product information quickly and easily, and make most of the features currently accessible on the Nationwide and TMW websites available to intermediaries via the mobile apps.

“It’s great to see that the intermediaries appear to find the apps useful and easy to use. I would recommend that any brokers who haven’t yet downloaded the apps should do so.”
