The lender will offer mortgages through brokers in Northern Ireland who are members of Legal & General Mortgage Club and appointed representatives of First Complete.
Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries will launch on Monday 16 June with a range of first-time buyer, homemover, remortgage and buy-to-let products.
The bank had previously operated through brokers across the UK under both the Bank of Ireland and Bristol & West brands but axed its intermediary service at the start of 2009.
The lender instead concentrated on direct-to-consumer lending through Post Office brand.
Last month Bank of Ireland launched a Post Office branded intermediary channel for mortgage brokers in mainland Britain.
Sean Sheehan, Bank of Ireland’s regional manager for Northern Ireland, said: “Bank of Ireland has a long history of providing mortgages in Northern Ireland and we’re delighted to extend our offering to intermediaries via Legal & General Mortgage Club and appointed representatives of First Complete.”
Jeremy Duncombe, director of Legal & General Mortgage Club, said: “This announcement is great news for our members in Northern Ireland, bringing more choice for intermediaries and their clients.”
Toni Smith, operations director at First Complete said: “Bank of Ireland is a well-established mortgage lender in Northern Ireland and we’re delighted to be able to offer their mortgages through our network.”
