Head of protection Mark Jones exits LV

LV= said it would not replace Jones’ role but anticipated making a further hire. 

An LV= spokeswoman said: “After four years leading the refresh and development of LV= protection propositions, Mark Jones has decided that his next career phase will be outside of LV=.

“During Mark’s time at LV= we have won a number of awards for our products which reflects the contribution that Mark has made. We wish him every success in the future.”

She added:”Mark’s former role will not be directly replaced but we anticipate making a further senior hire, strengthening the team and reflecting our ongoing commitment to the protection market.”

Jones is the latest departure from LV= who recently announced the exit of its former managing director of protection Iain Clark, who was replaced by Myles Rix.
