Jailed adviser ordered to return £55k to clients
A former Positive Solutions adviser has been ordered to repay £55,000 to the clients she stole from.

Angela Lauder, released from prison after a 16-month sentence, must return the money under Proceeds of Crime legislation.

Lauder joined Positive Solutions in 2004 and traded as Angelus Financial Planning.

Lauder had been pursued for £158,666 she stole from a couple in order to try to save her company.

But, following negotiations, it was agreed the 44-year-old will return a reduced sum of £55,000 within the next six months, according to The Southern Reporter.

Lauder took the money from Friends Provident between May 2008 and October 2010.

She was acting for a husband and wife when she pretended to the company they had approved the withdrawal of money from their investment fund.

She was jailed in November last year after admitting to the offence.
