Towry teams up with magazine to target footballers’ finances
Towry has formed a partnership with Professional Player magazine in a move to offer financial planning and investment management to footballers.

Professional Player is a lifestyle magazine which targets former and current professional footballers. Towry will offer financial planning and investment management to readers through its partnership with the title.

Financial planners such as Peter Cormack, who is a former professional footballer himself, will work with players to create and implement lifetime financial plans.

Cormack said: “Many professional footballers have the potential to earn a lot of money during their playing career, and it is therefore vitally important to ensure they have something to show for it when they stop playing.

“We see the partnership with Professional Player as a fantastic fit, and look forward to supporting their readers.”

Peter Etherington, chief executive of Professional Player, said: “Towry has a strong reputation as a leading, well-established wealth management firm, which I am confident will provide a fantastic financial planning service for readers of Professional Player.”
