The policies will be available through Virgin Money and underwritten by Friends Life.
There will be the option of using the Best Doctors second medical opinion service and access to the Bupa HealthLine for policy holders.
Cover will be on sale from £8 per month with a maximum benefit amount of £500,000.
The Friends Life’s merger with Aviva which was announced in 2014 will cost £5.6bn.
