Bower snaps up equity release adviser Sixty Plus
Equity release adviser firm Bower Retirement Services has purchased Sixty Plus with the intention to combine and strengthen adviser knowledge of the equity release market.

The new additions to Bower’s team, which will include David Wright, formerly managing director of Sixty Plus, will mean the total number of advisers working for the firm has increased by 40% in the last year.

David Wright set up Sixty Plus in 2006 and brings more than 20 years’ experience to Bower and has worked as a customer facing adviser over the last 10 years.

The partnership follows the recent announcement that Bower is looking to expand its adviser team significantly.

Geoff Charles, CEO of Bower Retirement Services (pictured), said: “The addition of Sixty Plus and David Wright to the Bower team will help to fortify us further, allowing us to reach out and help more customers than ever before. Bower is in the middle of a period of sustained growth, and this deal will add another layer of expertise – and added capacity – to our business.

“The amalgamation with Sixty Plus will allow us to forge forwards with expanding our offering to meet the growing needs of our customers.”
