Nigel Payne, former managing director of BM Solutions and The Mortgage Business, has taken the role of MD at specialist distributor TFC Homeloans in Warrington.
TFC, established in 1991, helps brokers place mortgages, second charge loans, bridging loans and commercial deals.
Payne’s CV spans high street retail banking names and specialist intermediary-only firms.
From 2002 to 2005 Payne worked for Halifax as head of secured lending and completed a brief stint as MD of BM Solutions for five months in 2008. He has acted as a consultant for Blacks Solicitors and held non-executive directorships at Brightstar Financial and the Rebuilding Society.
Payne has relinquished his non-executive director roles with other companies and will start at TFC with immediate effect.
