Connells hires acquisitions chief to grow business
Estate and lettings group Connells has appointed Mike Rowley as acquisitions director to head up its plans to grow the business by buying-up other firms.

Rowley (pictured), who has returned to Connells after a leave of absence, previously held the roles of director of Connells and managing director of Connells Survey and Valuation.

Connells has declared it has ‘ambitious expansion plans’ to grow its national estate agency and lettings offices through acquisitions to create a diverse portfolio of businesses.

Group CEO David Livesey said Rowley’s appointment brings with it a wealth of experience in all areas of the property market.

Connells reported a strong performance from its mortgage division earlier this year with a 13% increase in completed mortgages and a boost to its staff taking the number of mortgage advisers working for the group to more than 500.
