Halifax reduces rates on higher LTV products
Halifax Intermediaries has cut rates across its higher loan-to-value (LTV) products for home movers, remortgagors and first-time buyers.

Homemovers at 85% LTV can now fix for two years from 2.04% with a £1,499 fee, or opt for a tracker at 1.89% (base rate plus 1.39%) with a £999 fee.

Five-year fixes at 85% LTV start from 3.86% with a £999 fee.

Home movers with just a 10% deposit can fix for two years at 3.44% with a £1,499 fee, or five years at 4.24% with a £999 fee.

First-time buyers borrowing at 85% LTV have seen two-year rates reduced by 0.1% with fixed rates now from at 2.34%, with a £1,499 fee, and trackers at 2.19% (base rate plus 1.69%) with a £999 fee.

First-time buyers at 90% LTV have seen two-year fixes reduced by 0.3% with rates now from 3.44% (with a £1,499 fee).

First-time buyers also benefit from 1% cashback up to £2,500 alongside these rate reductions.

Home movers and first-time buyers using the Help to Buy Mortgage Guarantee Scheme, borrowing at 95% LTV, have seen two-year fixed rates reduced by 0.3% with rates now from 4.49% (with a £999 fee). First-time buyers also benefit from 1% cashback up to £2,500.

Homeowners remortgaging at 85% LTV can fix for two years from 2.04% with a £1,499 fee. Two-year trackers start at 1.89% (base rate plus 1.39%) with a £999 fee.

Five-year rates for remortgagors have been reduced by 0.1% with rates now from 3.86% (with a £999 fee).

Affordable housing, shared equity and shared ownership two-year rates at 90% LTV have been reduced by 0.3% with rates now from 3.79% (with a £999 fee).
