Retirement specialist LV is launching an equity release road show targeting financial advisers who are new to the sector or want to start advising on it.
The free sessions kick off on 8 September covering a range of topics including: the impact the pension freedoms are having on the retirement income market and the opportunities this presents to those operating in the equity release market; and tools to help advisers to discuss and demonstrate the benefits of equity release.
Steve Lewis, LV= head of retirement distribution, said: “Demand for equity release continues to grow and, with many arriving at retirement with smaller pension pots, we expect more retirees to look for a solution to help them address their income shortfall.”
He added: “This road show is one of the many ways we plan to work with advisers to grow the market and help them to discuss equity release with their clients.”
The sessions are taking place at the following locations:
8 September – Leeds (Village Hotel)
9 September – Manchester (LV= office)
22 September – Swindon (Village Hotel)
24 September – Redhill (Reigate Manor)
10 October – Birmingham (Moseley Rugby Club)
29 October – Strathclyde (McDonald Crutherland House)
