Stonebridge Group appoints conveyancing partner firms
Stonebridge Group, the mortgage and insurance network, has appointed BM Solutions Conveyancing and eConveyancer, part of the ULS Group, as preferred providers to the network.

Stonebridge will integrate both provider’s platforms into the Stonebridge technology system, Revolution.

BM Solutions Conveyancing offers a new online portal designed for brokers which can select 200 plus law and conveyancing firms by price, location or client rating and enlist online case tracking.

eConveyancer’s online platform, again listing over 200 solicitor or conveyancer firms, offers guaranteed quotes based on price, distance or service, allowing immediate instruction. The service is offered on a no-sale, no-fee basis with a UK-based help desk which is open seven days a week.

Paul Nye, business partnerships director of Stonebridge Group, (pictured) said: “Helping clients to select a competitive proposition for conveyancing should be part of the service advisers provide. Many clients are seeking guidance in this area and, without the best recommendation, may receive a poor service or incur unnecessary expense. With this in mind we recently undertook a review of leading conveyancing propositions which looked at a number of key areas, including feedback from our ARs, support, service standards, pricing and IT functionality.

“We felt eConveyencer and BM Solutions Conveyancing were outstanding with both firms offering great all-round propositions.”

Ben Thompson, managing director of ULS Group incorporating eConveyancer, said: “Today, one of the key areas where intermediaries can properly differentiate themselves is through fully controlling and influencing the experience that customers have when moving home and remortgaging. Stonebridge advisers will now be able to do exactly that, through working with eConveyancer, and I’m delighted that we have been chosen to partner them for conveyancing.”

Phil Rickards, head of BM Solutions, said: “It’s great to be confirmed as one of Stonebridge’ s chosen conveyancing partners and I’m excited at the prospect of further growth in what’s become an important part of an adviser’s toolkit.”

Stonebridge Group did a record £1bn worth of mortgage applications in its third quarter, with the number of total applications up year-on-year by 69% to 6,259.
