Mortgage Solutions senior reporter Hannah Uttley (pictured) picked up the first award at the Santander Media Awards last night.
Held at Lloyds ex-headquarters, The Banking Hall, Uttley was handed the Best Newcomer award by BBC Breakfast journalist Stephanie McGovern in front of a crowd of finance journalist peers.
The award was judged by a panel of industry professionals and senior journalists.
Mortgage Solutions was also shortlisted for the Financial Trade Website of the year category.
The awards are the most sought-after financial journalism awards as cash prizes totalling over £25,000 are awarded to the individual winners.
