Countrywide appoints corporate relationship director
Countrywide has appointed Scott Burman, formerly of Lloyds Banking Group, as corporate relationship director.

Burman (pictured) previously worked as national housing development manager for Lloyds, where he managed the retail relationship with some of the largest house builders in the UK.

He has over 14 years’ experience in the finance industry, and previous roles include intermediary mortgage business development manager at Scottish Widows Bank.

Paul Hunt, operations director at Countrywide Corporate Business, said: “Scott will join Sally Young as one of the two corporate relationship directors within our corporate business team.

“Scott’s expertise of the lender, house builder and SME markets will greatly add to the knowledge and experience already within the team and we look forward to welcoming Scott to Countrywide.”

In July, Peter Curran joined the group from Lloyds Banking Group, taking over as managing director of financial services.

In August, Paul Wareham was appointed managing director of field operations for Countrywide Surveying Services, and Johnny Morris was made research director.
