TenetLime announces MCD events and regulatory briefings
Mortgage network Tenetlime is hosting a series of Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD) events in February with a number of regulatory briefings also taking place later in the month.

The MCD events will take place in Leeds, Edinburgh, London, Bristol and Birmingham, and are open to all advisers.

The events will explain the changes needed to comply with the regulation, taking into account both a directly authorised and appointed representative perspective. Advisers will hear about the impact and implications from first and second charge lenders and master brokers.

TenetLime’s managing director Gemma Harle (pictured), said: “Advisers won’t be able to dip in and out of advising on second charge business so it’s important they make an informed decision. These events will help them understand how the new regulations will impact on their model, the choices available and what will need to be changed from a regulatory point of view.”

The MCD will also be covered in a series of regulatory briefings aimed at directly authorised advisers taking place towards the middle and end of February. The briefing meetings will take place in Manchester, London, Cambridge, Bristol and Edinburgh.

During the briefing, regulatory experts at TenetSelect will discuss the key areas currently being focused on by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The meetings will conclude with a session covering robo-advice, the Mortgage Credit Directive and Financial Advice Market Review.
