Barnard quits Aldermore for specialist lender
Rob Barnard, head of intermediary distribution at Aldermore Bank, has left his role to join specialist lender Pepper Homeloans.

Barnard (pictured) joined Aldermore in 2010 as head of business development when the mortgage division was first established, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Charles Haresnape, Aldermore group managing director of mortgages, said: “Rob has made a massive contribution to Aldermore and moves on with our very best wishes for his future success. I am sorry to see Rob leave the bank but respect his decision to pursue new opportunities and would like to thank him for the support he has provided to me.”

Pepper Homeloans formally launched to market in June 2015 with a range of specialist mortgage products.

Jeff Knight, head of marketing at Pepper Homeloans, confirmed Barnard would be joining the company but would not disclose details of his job title.

Barnard was unavailable for comment.
