TSB merges intermediary and direct mortgage business
TSB is integrating its direct and intermediary mortgage distribution teams to ensure customers receive the same experience regardless of which avenue they choose to obtain a mortgage.

The move has seen Roland McCormack (pictured), previously intermediary mortgage director, appointed to the role of mortgage distribution director, with two promotions also taking place within the team.

Beverley Bradford has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of intermediary business having previously worked as a regional manager for the Central and South West region. The role will ensure the lender’s business plan is delivered effectively and will overlook the service given to intermediaries through TSB’s BDM team.

Former national account manager Andy Sykes has stepped into the role of head of intermediary national accounts to develop its relationship with national account partners and oversee the intermediary experience of placing business through TSB.

Roland McCormack said: “Our aim has always been is to ensure we align our intermediary position with our direct mortgage offering as we want to ensure that our customers are getting the best service regardless of which avenue they take to join TSB. Merging our distribution divisions and encouraging the sharing of knowledge and best practice can only be a good thing for customers and will stand the TSB mortgage business in great stead for the years ahead.”
