Aviva’s protection MD Louise Colley to take on digital role
Aviva UK’s managing director of protection, Louise Colley, is to leave the role to take up the new UK digital customer propositions director role.

In the new role, Colley will be responsible for driving the strategy for digitally-enabled products and solutions across the company’s life and general insurance businesses. She will report to Blair Turnbull, managing director UK digital and will be a member of the UK digital executive team based in the Digital Garage in Hoxton, London.

“With her 27 years in Aviva, Louise will draw on her in-depth knowledge of UK customer needs and experience of market-leading product development to accelerate Aviva’s digital strategy in the UK,” said an Aviva spokesperson.

She will continue in her role as Aviva UK Life’s managing director for individual protection for the time being, with the support of chief underwriter Robert Morrison, until her replacement is confirmed.

“As Aviva UK Life’s managing director for individual protection, Louise has been a driving force within the protection market, responsible for growing the business and bringing innovative customer solutions to market backed by a caring and supportive customer contact team,” said the spokesperson.
