Pepper joins Legal and General Mortgage Club
Pepper Homeloans has agreed a partnership to distribute its loans through the Legal and General Mortgage Club.

Since launching last year, Pepper has restricted the distribution of its mortgage range to Legal and General key partners and a number of specialist packagers and distributors.

Jeff Knight, head of marketing at Pepper, said: “As we continue to invest in more staff and strengthen our resources, we want to expand our distribution to give brokers greater choice in the way they access our services. We’re delighted to become part of the L&G Mortgage Club and look forward to working with their brokers over the coming months.”

Jeremy Duncombe, director, L&G Mortgage Club, said: “Pepper has been investing heavily in its mortgage business and has ambitious plans for the future. Its specialist range of mortgage products will be a welcome addition to our full L&G Mortgage Club and will help brokers capitalise on market opportunities that they may not have dealt with previously.”

Richard Spinks, former chief mortgage officer and programme director at Saffron Building Society became the latest Pepper recruit in April and joined as head of lending operations.

Rob Barnard has also joined to be sales director from Aldermore and Colin Snowdon, who helped launch Aldermore Bank’s mortgage proposition also joined the team last year alongside Jeff Knight, previously of Castle Trust.
