Natwest appoints eight BDMs
Natwest Intermediary Solutions has taken on two field-based business development managers (BDMs), six telephone BDMs and a team leader for its LiveTalk instant messaging service.

Stuart Brady will look after the South West as a field-based BDM with Rachael Fleet taking on responsibility for a panel of brokers in Chester, Wrexham, Warrington, Crewe and Shrewsbury.

Brady and Fleet have both worked at Natwest for eight years after holding roles as mortgage advisers.

Natwest’s latest telephone BDM recruits are Lucy Dowthwaite, who will assist brokers in Kent; Sadie Page who will be managing a panel of brokers in Leeds, Sheffield and Teesside; and James Burwood who will look after East Anglia.

Further appointments are Harvey Bishop for north London, Hertfordshire and Essex, Jack Maliszewsk and Tommy Taylor.

Natwest’s team leader for its LiveTalk service is Shane Woods, who has worked in mortgages for nine years and comes from The One Account’s customer broker welcome team.

Mark Bullard, head of sales, NatWest Intermediary Solutions said: “We know from conversations with mortgage brokers just how highly they value good BDMs which is why we are always keen to recruit the very best to join our team.

“I am delighted that we have been able to welcome such a large number of new BDMs who bring with them great relationship skills, a huge amount of energy and a desire to provide world class service. I am positive that they will quickly prove their worth to their broker panels as we continue our appetite to grow our intermediary lending.”
