Key Partnerships launches equity release portal
Equity release referral service Key Partnerships has launched an online portal for introducers to handle their equity release cases.

The portal has a dashboard displaying key information, including active referral cases, as well as enabling advisers to make referrals directly from the portal. This will speed up the process and provide real-time updates on progress, said Key.

Advisers can monitor the progress of client cases, with visibility of appointments attended, valuations and offers issued.

The launch is part of a wider digital investment by Key Partnerships, upgrading its website with a commission calculator for advisers.

The B2B referral service is increasingly focusing on business from 7,000 introducers, including IFAs, mortgage brokers, accountants, solicitors and estate agents.

Will Hale (pictured), director at Key Partnerships, said: “Investment in the portal and digital services will further strengthen our offering for introducers and their clients as we respond to growing demand for specialist digital support services.

“The equity release market is expanding rapidly and we need to innovate so we can better support our introducers as they help clients. The portal builds on a range of support, including the Chartered Insurance Institute-accredited webinar programme and relaunched website.”

Key said it saw a 71% increase in referral business during 2016.
