Nationwide head of corporate accounts Gary Salter is to leave the lender.
Salter has been in the position for more than five years and previously spent 18 years as senior intermediary manager at Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society.
Nationwide said it had made the decision to remove the position as part of an organisation re-structuring.
Nationwide director of intermediary relationships Ian Andrew said: “Following a review of the team structure, the position of head of corporate accounts no longer exists and therefore Gary Salter is leaving Nationwide at the end of August.
“The society would like to thank him for his contribution and to wish him every success for the future.”
Salter told Mortgage Solutions that he had enjoyed his time at Nationwide and after a few months’ break he would be looking for other opportunities to work in the mortgage market.
“I’ve got another job in me yet and I’m looking at a couple of options,” he said.
