Presidents Club dinner guest list reveals raft of property firm sponsors
A raft of property industry companies were listed to attend the Presidents Club charity dinner, where women were allegedly groped and assaulted, a guest list has revealed.

It is not confirmed who was present at the men-only event at which women hostesses were subject to harassment, according to an FT investigation.

But a guestlist published by the Guardian has showed many of the table sponsors were firms operating within the property industry.

Landlord and letting agents Residential Land, real estate fund manager Frogmore and development company Londonewcastle were among the firms listed as having a table at the gala.

Kyte Property, Paradigm Land and Stoneforce Group were also due to host tables.

Reports of the behaviour at the Presidents Club dinner has rocked the business world and led to widespread outrage and condemnation.

Prime Minister Theresa May described the reported behaviour as “appalling” and Bank of England governor Mark Carney said he was “utterly dismayed” by the claims.

Charities that received donations as a result of the fund-raising event have pledged to return them.

The President’s Club has subsequently closed and David Meller, who helped organise the event, has quit his non-executive role on the Department for Education board.
