Mortgage Solutions can reveal that a little bit of the white stuff isn’t enough to stop brokers getting applications sorted for their clients.
Advisers across the country trudged through harsh conditions to submit cases, with heroic efforts seen at The Mortgage Trading Company.

For some brokers, the snow was an opportunity to juggle work and family life.
Told my guys in the office to only go in today if they really want to. Yet my Mrs’ boss is telling staff to walk miles in the snow to work no matter what. She’s is doing wonders for staff morale ?.

But it’s fair to say some parts of the country were hit worse than others.

Lenders, clubs and networks were not immune to weather chaos, with several providers warning of service disruption.
Skipton Building Society said: “Due to the snow a lot of our colleagues are experiencing delays in getting into the office, so you might have to wait a little longer to get through to us.”
Atom Bank opened later than usual but phone lines were up and running once staff had battled the elements.
The guys have braved the ❄️ and our phone lines are open again!

However, some people in the industry were just not impressed with Britain’s snow response.
It’s a bit cold though

Sorry, we know that there is such a thing as a snow plough right? How on earth are major roads impassible in the modern day?!
