Principality launches Help to Buy mortgage for England
Principality Building Society has launched a Help to Buy mortgage for England, which will initially be offered through advisers only.

The deal extends the lender’s support of first-time buyers and next-time buyers using the government-backed scheme, with Principality already offering Help to Buy to borrowers in Wales.

The mortgage is a five-year fixed-rate of 2.45%, has no product fees, and offers a free valuation.

Julia Debattista, new build business development manager at Principality Building Society, said: “Having listened to broker feedback we are delighted to be introducing a Help to Buy England mortgage product to our range.

“Last year Principality helped more than 5,000 first time buyers get on to the property ladder.

“We’ve supported the Help to Buy Wales scheme since it launched and now look forward to helping clients across England.”

It comes after Principality recently added 90% loan to value on new build houses and flats.
