The Mortgage Lender appoints Keith Street as chief commercial officer
The Mortgage Lender (TML) has appointed Keith Street as chief commercial officer, he joins from The Northview Group where he held the position of vice chairman of group lending.

A spokeperson from the company told Mortgage Solutions his role at The Mortgage Lender has been newly created.

Reporting into deputy chief executive Peter Beaumont, he will be in charge of the distribution strategy and the sales team with strategic input into the marketing and product functions. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

Street (pictured) has more than 20 years in financial services. Prior to his role at Northview Group, he was head of Kensington Mortgages and the sales and marketing director at The Mortgage Business.

Street said: “I want to work with people I like and have huge respect for the senior management team at The Mortgage Lender. I feel I’ve got a contribution to make and am excited by the opportunity to help the team drive business growth and deliver against its strategic objectives.”

Deputy chief executive Peter Beaumont said the team was very proud Street has decided to join The Mortgage Lender.

He said: “Having someone of his calibre on board will be invaluable in directing every aspect of our growth strategy and helping the business achieve its ambitious plans.”

This year the company has added five new business development managers across the UK and six new telephone business development managers at its head office in Glasgow.

The marketing team has expanded from one to three, with the appointment of Fraser MacDougall as head of marketing and product, and Fraser Brown as marketing and product executive.
