Vida Homeloans’ Ian Giles consultancy move brings team reshuffle
Specialist lender Vida Homeloans has promoted head of sales and marketing operations Nick Allen as well as digital marketing manager Simon Chapman to director and head of marketing after previous marketing boss Ian Giles moved into a consultancy role.

The lender told Mortgage Solutions that Ian Giles, director of marketing at Vida since launch in 2016, will continue working for Vida Homeloans in a consultancy capacity and will not be working for any other clients within the mortgage industry.

This is part of Vida’s expansion plans aimed at doubling their business size by the end of the year.

The business now has 10,000 intermediaries registered to conduct business and has originated more than £2bn of applications in under two years.

Vida has also achieved two securitisations worth more than £0.5 billion and received eight industry awards.

Guy Batchelor, Vida’s sales and marketing director, said the team is always delighted to be able to develop its in-house talent and promote internally.

He added: “We wish Ian, Nick and Simon the best in their new roles as we continue in our drive to become the specialist lender of choice in the UK mortgage market.”
