The Mortgage Hut hires Johnson as commercial mortgage specialist
The Mortgage Hut’s newly-launched commercial arm, The Commercial Mortgage Hut, has appointed Robert Johnson as commercial mortgage specialist, joining from estate agent Leaders where he was a regional manager.

Based in Southampton, Robert Johnson (pictured) is the first full-time broker to join the firm after six months of trading.

Involved in the property industry for over ten years, Johnson has worked at both independent and large corporate companies, overseeing a number of sales and lettings offices and working with portfolio developers.

Group managing director, Chris Schutrups said there has been a massive demand for people looking at unregulated bridging, commercial finance and property development finance in the last six months since The Commercial Mortgage Hut’s launch.

He added: “Robert joins after spending a majority of his career in property, both commercial and residential, and brings a wealth of experience with him to help clients in the commercial sector develop strong acquisition strategies.”

Robert Johnson said he is looking forward to working with clients and supporting them.

He added: “Chris and the team are massively experienced and have continued to take the business to the next level. Entering the commercial sector is a huge opportunity for the business to take another step forward and continue to help clients in their own journeys.”
