The former sales and marketing director of The Mortgage Lender (TML) Pete Thomson has passed away.
Thomson left TML in May this year.
Friend Mike Allison wrote in a personal facebook post that Thomson had battled illness since leaving the lender.
He added: “Despite recent signs he was getting over the worst, his brave and uphill battle ended yesterday when his heart finally gave in.
“He leaves a wife and three lovely daughters, all of whom he was immensely proud.
“They would respectfully ask to leave them to grieve privately in the coming days.”
Details of funeral arrangements will be given to friends in due course, Allison said.
