Accord offers brokers ‘resource library’ to grow businesses
Mortgage brokers can access more than 50 free tools, guides and other support material through Accord’s online growth series hub.

 

Items available include an online tool to generate emails requesting customer reviews, advice on using social media to raise the profile of firms and a guide on buy-to-let tax rules.

The intermediary arm of the Yorkshire Building Society group has offered guidance on how brokers can build their business since May this year through its series.

The latest update focuses on how successful recruitment for small and medium sized businesses, with template job descriptions, guides to posting jobs on LinkedIn, useful interview questions and advice about embedding new starters.

The lender estimates the material now available in the hub is worth around £25,000.

Jeremy Duncombe, director of intermediary distribution at Accord Mortgages, said: “We’re absolutely delighted by the impact our growth series has had and making the complete suite of material available to subscribers will be a great service.

“The feedback from brokers has been brilliant and in the coming months we’ll be adding further resources to support their needs beyond the day-to-day mortgage process.”

Aaron Strutt, product director at Trinity Financial, added: “The growth series offers insights that are valuable to brokers whatever their firm’s size or type.

“It’s great to see a lender putting such effort into helping intermediaries.”
