Chris Schutrups to leave The Mortgage Hut
The Mortgage Hut founder Chris Schutrups is stepping down from his role as managing director of the broker.

He will be replaced by associate director Nicola Arbon, who started at the firm as an adviser.

Schutrups is taking on a new role at the helm of a large broker in Dubai in the new year.

He founded The Mortgage Hut in 2011, which has since grown to an adviser with more than 30 employees, and will remain a majority shareholder in the business.

As part of the changes, Giacomo Stevens is to become operations director, moving up from his previous role of sales manager.

Before joining The Mortgage Hut, Arbon worked in high street banking customer service.

She said: “This is an amazing opportunity for me and I’m really looking forward to continuing building on the successful business Chris has built over the last eight years.

“There are so many new opportunities in the mortgage business, but an incredible customer experience will always be my number one priority.”

Schutrups added: “I’m so proud of my team at The Mortgage Hut and I know Nicola and all our staff will continue to offer an unrivalled service to our clients.

“I’m obviously hugely excited to be moving to Dubai and to take on the new opportunities and challenges ahead.”
